Konwersja Komandosa Wilków Imperialu z Miotaczem Gehenny. Nie jestem pewien czy tego rodzaju wyposażenie jest dostępne dla Wilków. Figurka pokryta Purity Sealem padła ofiarą efektu szronienia.

Imperial Wolfbane Commando with Gehenna Puker. Not really sure if Gehenna Puker is available for Wolfbanes. Coating with GW Purity Seal resulted in the dreaded frosted effect.

Warzone – Piechota Imperialu Imperial Regulars

W związku z planami firmy Prodos Games dotyczącymi wskrzeszenia systemu Warzone, postanowiłem odkurzyć wypraski z piechotą imperialu z zestawu podstawowego do tej gry i przeprowadzić próbne malowanie. Pozostaje mi teraz pomalować resztę oddziału i czekać na wydanie samej gry osadzonej w świecie Kronik Mutantów. Uniwersum jest bardzo bogate i można się tylko cieszyć z jego powrotu na bitewne stoły. Z informacji podawanych przez wydawcę wynika, iż można liczyć również na wspaniałe grafiki, między innymi Paula Bonnera.

The universe is very complex, and one can only rejoice in its return to the battletables. P-40 Warhawk / Kittyhawk – out of the box

Nie jestem entuzjastą używania lotnictwa w Flames of War, ufając bardziej w siłę jednostek, które pozostają na stole. Postawiwszy sobie jednak za cel skompletowanie wszystkich dostępnych dla II Korpusu jednostek, nie mogłem pominąć wsparcia lotniczego w postaci samolotu Curtiss P-40 Warhawk, któremu Royal Air Force nadało nazwę Kittyhawk. Planując zakup nie znalazłem nigdzie w sieci poglądowego zdjęcia zawartości zestawu firmy Battlefront.
Pudełko zawiera żywiczny model, podstawkę pod samolot, metalowe części w postaci dwóch bomb i kołpaka śmigła, dwa magnesy neodymowe Rare Earth, kostkę „samolotową” i kalkomanie.

Malowanie zostało przeze mnie niestety odłożone do czasu, gdy zdobędę brytyjskie kalkomanie odpowiednie dla szwadronów wspierających 8. armię, zestaw bowiem zawiera jedynie oznaczenia United States Air Force, za to wystarczające dla trzech samolotów, co jest pozostałością po czasach, gdy Battlefront sprzedawał samoloty „na klucze” po trzy w zestawie.


I'm not a huge fan of the use of air support in Flames of War, trusting more in the power of platoons that remain on the table. However, having set a goal of compiling all units available for the Polish II Corp, I could not omit aircraft Curtiss P-40 Warhawk aircraft, which was nicknamed Kittyhawk in the Royal Air Force. As I was planning the purchase, I was not able to find any pictorial of Battlefront box content.

The box contains a resin model of a plane, airplane stand, the metal parts namely two bombs and a spinner, two Rare Earth, one aircraft dice and decal sheet. Painting has unfortunately been postponed until I will obtain decals suitable for british planes supporting the 8th army, as the set contains only decals for the United States Air Force, however sufficient in number for three aircraft, which is a remnant of the days when Battlefront had been selling them in “flights” - three in a set.

Mój najnowszy projekt (choć to nie moja pierwsza armia do FoW) to kompania piechoty z 3. Karpackiej Dywizji II Korpusu Polskiego w czasie czwartej bitwy o Monte Cassino.

Miś Wojtek "Wojtek the Bear (PS001)" był figurką limitowaną, która dodawana była do podręcznika do systemu Flames of War - Cassino. Wojtek the Bear (PS001)was a "soldier" of 22 Procurement Company of Artillery in the 2nd Polish Corps, and the character of the book of Monte Cassino Wojtek: the story of an unusual bear by Wieslaw Anthony Lasocki
Wojtek was a limited edition miniature, which was added to the Flames of War – Cassino book. Getting this miniature was paid with months of an unsuccessful hunt for online auctions. Finally, with help came family from the United States, which at this point I`d like to thank.

Hasło to skrócona wersja napisu na sztandarze z manifestacji ku czci dekabrystów w Warszawie 25 stycznia 1831, którego autorstwo przypisuje się polskiemu działaczowi politycznemu Joachimowi Lelewelowi. Zdobyło ono popularność w trakcie powstania listopadowego, gdzie wskazywało iż nie jest ono wymierzone w Rosjan, a w carski despotyzm.
W czasie II wojny światowej nabrało nowego wymiaru i odnosili się do niego polscy żołnierze walczący na zachodzie oraz wschodzie wespół z aliantami, o wolność Polski ale i całej okupowanej Europy.
W systemie Flames of War była to również nazwa zasady specjalnej wojsk polskich pozwalająca na przerzut morale plutonu, jak również morale kompanii. Została ona zastąpiona przez słabszą zasadę Fate of the Nation, uzależniającą możliwość przerzutu od obecności w plutonie dowódcy kompanii lub jego zastępcy.
Przyjąłem to hasło jako nazwę dla prowadzonego bloga – gdyż szczególną estymą darzę polski czyn zbrojny z okresu II wojny światowej, z uwagi na fakt, iż była to czwarta siła miltarna na europejskim teatrze działań, w czasie gdy kraj w całości znajdował się pod okupacją.
Nie bez znaczenia, jest także to, że hasło to znalazło się na plakacie M. Cassino - For Your Freedom and Ours autorstwa Stanisława Westwalewicza – zaś kampania Włoska jest mi szczególnie bliska – niesłabnąca fascynacja historią wojskowości zaczęła się od książki Monte Cassino Melchiora Wańkowicza.

Slogan is a shortened version of the inscription on the banner of the demonstration in honor of the Decembrists in Warsaw January 25, 1831, which is attributed to the Polish political activist Joachim Lelewel. It gained popularity during the November Uprising, where it pointed out that it is not aimed at the Russians, but the imperial despotism.
During World War II, it gained a new dimension, as it referred to the Polish soldiers who fought in the West and the East alltogether with the Allies, for the freedom of their country, as well as the whole of the occupied Europe.
In Flames of War system, it was also the name of the Polish forces special rule - allowing a re-roll of platoon morale, as well as the company check. It was recently replaced by the weaker rule - Fate of the Nation, which demands presence of company commander or 2iC for a re-roll.
I`ve decided this blog to be holding this particular name - because I bestow special esteem Polish military effort in World War II, due to the fact that this was the fourth force in the European theater of operations, at a time when the whole country was under Nazi occupation.
Not without significance is also the fact that the slogan is also found on posters M. Cassino - For Your Freedom and Ours by Stanislaw Westwalewicz - and Italian campaign is especially close to me – since my enduring fascination with military history began with the book Monte Cassino – by Melchior Wańkowicz.
